How’s the new timetable working for you?
Please post all constructive feedback to comments.
Here are some initial observations:
Lunch time sessions are well supported.
Barbell Club on Monday night is well supported however the Thursday morning Barbell session isn’t.
0930 session on Thursday is not well supported.
Yoga is popular but now its a little colder some of you are dropping off.
Saturday morning Open gym is weak.
We love CrossFit Kids/Youth!
Our primary aim is to provide session times that maximise attendance. Please have your say and post to comments.

Personally I’m really enjoying BBC and have been changing my training for mornings trying to fit in with childcare etc. It’s brilliant to see support for the CF Youth and Kids, hopefully this will grow and we can see more and more active kidlets running around.
The Yoga sessions are awesome as well, even though i look like an uncoordinated fool sometimes.
School holidays in 8 weeks so might be able to get to some of the day sessions but that’s about the only chance i will so can’t comment.
Awesome work Drum.
Corkers
I love the yoga, but due to work commitments haven’t been able to attend the last few weeks. My days have changed around again, so after regionals will be able to regularly make the sessions.
Everything else is working great for me!
I’d love to do yoga but I can’t train till after 6pm at night now and only on a Monday and wednesday.
Apart from
That I’ve had to swap up my training time from
The 9:30 am and 12:00 sessions to the morning sessions due to my new job. So sorry for my lack of support at 9:30.
I am looking to start coming to The 7am barbell club also. But will come to the night one if it gets scrapped.
Just trying to settle into a new routine at the moment 🙂
I love the time table.. I enjoy both BBC times.. although sometimes it’s super hard to do a WOD at 6 then BBC at 7… but if thats when it will be I am still going to attend 🙂
Big fan of lunch time sessions every day. I make it to yoga whenever my shifts allow which is about 3 of every 5 weeks. I did prefer the later open gym time but due to shift work its quite rare I can make it on a Saturday at all anyway.
7am sessions every day are fantastic. Thursday just happens to be my midweek day off the gym, which I find I need for recovery and also for family balance, so unfortunately barbell club is not possible. I am enjoying slotting in the extra barbell work when I can though so I’m happy to see that programmed on the advanced page now and then.
The new Saturday morning sessions are working really well for us as it means we can all get in there as a family at a reasonable time and take part in a class. Open gym just never really worked out for me so I am super happy with the new timetable on Saturday.
Hanardi is loving Crossfit kids. If it changed to slightly later it would suit me better due to work, but I know that stuffs up Crossfit Youth, so will keep ducking out of work to get her there.
7AM Classes rock!
barbell club has been great at forcing me to do the drills I should have been doing for a while now, it’s been an excellent addition. yoga too!
I do miss the later open gym on saturdays though, but i’m sure that’s more me being slack and not getting up early than anything.
I have been really enjoying the barbell club – I would really like to see this remains in at least 1 of the 7am class during the week as I will always be at that class time anyhow. I think from observation thursday seems to be a general rest day for many people, Im usually pretty pooped too by then. I like to be able to have a some open gym time on saturday – but I also need a wee little sleep in by then because i’m useless. Yoga has dropped off for me, i don’t usually finish work until 5:30 – 5:45, and yes its hard to do yoga in the cold, I find it is not as enjoyable, but i could just get on the rower for a good 10 minutes beforehand and stop whinging.
I’ve been reorganising myself a bit recently and currently what seems best is evening session mon, tue, and 7am wed, thu and fri. Since thu 7am is barbell id probably have to man up and go to the 6am to do the wod, since my primary motivation for doing 7am’s is having more time in the evening. I will see how i feel Wednesday night to decide, and then have another think about it on the weekend, but it seems like i can work with the current time table pretty well
I really like the idea of the barbell club, however the only one i could make is 6.40pm, and i find that too late. I think it is being well supported by the people who were already attending classes at that time anyway.
I used to enjoy the 3.30pm to 4.20pm open gym times, as i could come straight from work and practice skills before a wod.
Yoga i haven’t been supporting, and that’s me being lazy. I’ve really enjoyed it when i have done it and will be there from now on.
I think Saturday morning open gym at 6.30AM was always going to be a tough sell.
Just on the Saturday morning open session
We used to go to the 7am wod because it fitted in with other commitments
We have been going to the open also for the same reasons
If it was held later it wouldn’t suit our family
I am thinking that if its attended keep it going if not then I am sure none of use want to see the coaches twiddling thumbs. I am happy to see the box’s growth, meeting new people is great and off course this means the box is open more often and that is only good news.
Loving this new timetable. Especially Barbell Club, though 7am Thursdays are difficult for me because it usually clashes with work… but I’ll try it make it as much as I can.
I’ve only previously voiced my opinions.
Love barbel club. Prefer the friday open was a wod but DJ has been really hands on and running the open wod style for those of us using it, which I have really appreciated.
I preferred the old friday timetable. Please keep an early morning Saturday session either 6; 30 or 7.
I think that the timetable has always offered an amazing number of options for everyone and my low attendance has been totally because of ongoing ill health, lack of transport (share car with husband) or work commitments in Launceston. I look forward to getting there for a minimum of four days per week now that those things have been sorted.
The new timetable certainly provides more options and I seem to be able to easily fit a WOD into my day around my other commitments. Especially love the 12am everyday, that’s a winner! And I will always be a devoted 4.20pm crossfitter! Would be interested in barbell club, but the sessions are a little bit too early or too late for me with study. Overall new timetable is great Drum!
